Legal Help WV was created by a Marshall University alumnus, Jeff Williams (Class of 2003, Finance), as a way to give back to the state and community that shaped him.
West Virginia has always produced resilient, capable people. But navigating the legal system here can feel confusing, intimidating, or unnecessarily opaque — especially if you don’t have family members who are lawyers or money set aside for legal fees.
This site exists to close that gap.
